The U.S. Mint is currently holding a numismatic press availability via conference call. During the call, the U.S. Mint announced that they plan to continue the Morgan and Peace dollar programs in 2022 and beyond.
Although the products have not been finalized, it is possible that there may be different finishes, such as reverse proof, and additional products options including the production of the coins at other mint facilities.
Stay tuned for more from the U.S. Mint’s press availability.
GO for it!
I am disappointed so far in the program. I have been told my order is in the processing mode. At the same time the same coins I am suppose to be approved for are being sold on eBay at a very high premium. I have read where some special dealers were allowed to buy large quantities and obtain those quantities before the common coin collector would have theirs mailed out. This isn’t right. I will be thinking about the whole program and my continuing in it. I havebeen receiving mint sets though the program for over 45 years.
Everything you said is true. The mint is catering to large dealers almost exclusively why not doing anything for the average collector.except lie to you.. They are not their for the average collector anymore and the cost you pay is way to high. That is why most of the proof and mint sets are becoming worthless after a decade or two.
